Theft from Garden – Weaver Grove, Shifnal

West Mercia Police are appealing for information following a theft that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 22nd April 2026 on Weaver Grove.

Between 03:00hrs and 03:05hrs, an unknown male entered a front garden and stole a number of solar-powered lights.

The offender was seen walking along Weaver Grove towards West Way, initially carrying the lights still illuminated before placing them into a rucksack.

Suspect Description

White male, young-looking and slim build.
Wearing a hooded top with the hood tightened, possibly a beanie or woollen hat underneath.
Wearing jogging bottoms and carrying a large double rucksack secured across the arms and stomach.

What Happened

During the hours of darkness, the offender was walking along a residential street checking gardens for items to steal. He entered the victim’s garden and removed solar lights before leaving on foot.

The incident has been captured on CCTV and door camera footage.
